SUMMARY:Unable to boot from solaris 2.5.1 CDROM on Ultra 60

Hi All,

The consensus is that Ultra 60 needs a 11/97 or later
verson of solaris 2.5.1 CD that supports a PCI bus.
Solaris 2.6 also works on Ultra 60 & 30.

Someone suggested using an external CDROM but I have not
tried that yet .

There are numerous .Thanks for all the replies. This
mailing is the best that I know of.
