My experience MAY be of some help or it may not, but anyway-

I have a Toshiba laptop, a CD205, that has an integrated
pointing
device. I had difficulty getting an external MS Intellipoint
(wheel) mouse working as a three button mouse, the middle button

wouldn't act as an X middle button. What I had to do is turn
off
the capability of having simultaneous use of the integrated
'mouse'
(looks like a pencil eraser, sorry I don't know what it is
called)
and only use the external mouse.

Perhaps even though you are only trying to use the internal
mouse
device you are having the same problem. In fact, I should
mention,
that I could not 'chord' (use both right+left buttons
simultaneously
to simulate the middle button) with either the internal or
external
mouse until I disabled the simultaneous pointing devices from
the
Toshiba setup program. I can't remember if I had trouble using
the
right button as the right X button but that seems possible.

2)
Not sure if it will help or not, but,

http://www.mindspring.com/~dwarfie

can't remember the exact url on my web page, but Under
"web browsers" theres a link for using two button mice
under Netscape and the right click not working, may
help.
