Hi,

Here is my original question:

> I am in the process of implementing a new web server on a Sun Netra J 170
> running Solaris 2.5.1. My question is: Which web server do you recommend
> me?
> I do not care if it is a commercial or non-commercial one. My worry is
> about
> speed and security.

and here are the result to my survey:

The winner is ---->>>>> APACHE <<<<<<-------

Apache : 14 (http://www.apache.org/)
Sun Web Server : 1
Netscape Server: 2 (www.netscape.com)
Apahy : 1
WN : 1 (http://hopf.math.nwu.edu/docs/index.html)

Comments summary:

Apache: Very good for security; fast; public domain; flexible; well-supported;
        runs over 50% of all webservers now; sunsolve.sun.com runs it!;
        highly configurable; available on Linux, Solaris and NT; developped
        by and for webmasters;

Sun Web Server: Easy to administer; runs on Solaris 2.5.1 and 2.6;
                bundled with Solaris 2.6 Server.

Netscape server: Security features are excellent!;
                 SSL: excellent!
                 Drawback: It is a memory HOG!

WN: Excellent security
