Jack Smith <smith35@llnl.gov> provided me with a good solution:
There is a company, DataLynx (619) 560-8112, which makes a product called
"guardian".
It handles password aging for SunOS NIS and Solaris NIS+.
You can also contact their sales executive, Marc Degenkolb at:
marc@datalynx.cts.com for information and pricing.
The package is very expensive!
I downloaded a demo version. The product works real well.
