SUMARRY:How do uninstall NIS

Well . . . What I ended up doing was:

1) removing the /etc/defaultdomain file
2) rm /var/yp/`domainname`
3) cp /etc/nsswitch.files /etc/nsswitch.conf
4) rebooted

My orig question:

I would like to know how to uninstall NIS. I'd really like a quick
step-by-step if there is one. Thanks guys! And to everyone, MERRY
CHRISTMAS.
