SUMMARY: Problem booting with terminal

Got the answer I needed within no time - all the respondents pointed to
the eeprom settings, and in particular the setting that was causing all the
problems, which was:


change the 'false' to 'true' and everything went fine. Dont know how it got
changed in the first place but I know where to look in future.
