1. Sound like:
   a) You have the wrong permissions or you don't have permissions! :-)
   b) Your *mqueue* directory does not exist!
2. Is sendmail installed suid root? It probably should be. euid=5
   should maybe read euid=0 if only root has write access to your
   mqueue dir.
3. What are the permissions of sendmail?
        -r-sr-x--x 1 root kmem 1523712 Aug 5 15:29 /usr/lib/sendmail

After upgrading our sendmail version from 8.8.5 to 8.8.6 on Solaris 2.3/5,
I noticed the the following error message in /var/adm/messages:

Aug 2 23:45:07 host sendmail[9627]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(uucp): queuename:
Cannot create "qfXAA09627" in "/var/spool/mqueue" (euid=5): Permission denied

Could somebody please tell me what went wrong.
