Follow up to my question:

Hi Sun Managers,

I'm running Solaris 2.5.1 and sendmail 8.6 and would like to make my
mail server serve different domains and append the correct domain name
on the end of the users e-mail addresses that fall into each of the
 domains.

I am also trying to get my server to simply send mail to the net without
having to forward it to another server outside of my domain.

Currently I have to set the DR & CR gateway mail server addresses in
order for my mail to get sent onto the net.

Thanks to all who responded:

Richard Schulting <richard.schulting@idsys.nl>
Gnuchev Fedor <qwe@ht.eimb.rssi.ru>
Marcelo Maraboli <maraboli@dcsc.utfsm.cl>
Rich Kulawiec <rsk@itw.com>
and everyone that I missed...

The biggest problem that I had was that Solaris 2.5.1 installs sendmail 8.6
which turns out has many security problems. The solution was to download
the latest version of sendmail from ftp://ftp.sendmail.org/pub/sendmail
directory.

After compiling it and getting all of my configurations correct everything
worked like a charm.

Again, thanks to all that offered advice!
