Thank you for so many people give me the answer. I summary the answer on below.
, The Solaris 2.X filesystem has done > 2GB for a long time. Its
something like 1 terabyte. Its SunOS 4.X that cant do > 2gb.
. Solaris 2.6 will not be a 64 bit OS.
It will be a 32 bit OS (32 bit address space).
. The 64 bits application in the future will still run on Sparc 5 (32 bits).
. Some people mention Sparc 5 will be phase out around summer. I don't know
is it true or not?
. A lot people mention Sparc 5 and Ultra Sparc 1 price should not much
difference. I got a quota from a reseller and list in bellow. Actually it
has $7,000 difference. My agency is very poor, even one thousand dollar
difference my boss will not agree.
