-------------- software query from ---------------------

You can run the command:

# ffbconfig -prconf

--- Hardware Configuration for /dev/fbs/ffb0 ---
Type: double-buffered FFB with Z-buffer
Board: rev 3
FBC: version 0x1
DAC: Brooktree 9068, version 4
3DRAM: Mitsubishi 1308, version 5
Monitor Sense ID: 4 (Sun 19" monitor)
Monitor possible resolutions: 1280x1024x76, 1280x1024x67, 1152x900x66
        1152x900x76, 960x680x112s, 960x680x108s, 1024x800x84, 1024x768x77
Current resolution setting: 1280x1024x76

If it is just a creator, then the type will only be single-buffered.

The IC for single creator is mark 397, while 3D creator 398.
You can see by opening the Ultra cover.

The ffbconfig worked great. It had the added bonus of supplying the information
that the creator graphics card is single buffered, which will cause my
customer's software to fail.
