SUMMARY: ufsdump problems

 Thanks to everyone who responded and very special thanks to Waqar Hafiz
 (whafiz@london.micrognosis.com) who pointed me to the right direction.

 My original question was:

 The solution was to disable tagged command queueing on the SCSI bus. I
 put this line to /etc/system and the problem disappeared:

 set scsi_options & ~0x80

 Sun managers summary on 14.10.1995, 'block read errors from ufsdump'
 described the same situation and the solution.
