SUMMARY: Proctool on Solaris 2.4

This issue is solved. Proctool invokes "pmon" which needs to run
setuid root. Well, as luck would have it, the directory I was running
it from was automounted with the "-nosuid" option. I copied the
proctool directory to a local disk and ran it from there and low and
behold "I saw the light". The tool is excellent, BTW. I dare anyone
to point me to something better for the same price.
