Hi Everyone,

My original query was:

> Hi Everyone,
> I am planning to install a 4GB hard disk on a Sparc 10 running SunOS 4.1.4.
> I am curious if there is any problems in doing this? I know htat there is a
> 2GB partition limit, but I was going to divide the disk into two partitions..

Summary, There is a 2GB partition limit. However, I formatted the disk
without any problems, of course it took about 2hours, but the good news
wat that there was not any problems.

I did however get a few replies saying it was not a good idea to put the 4GB
drive inside the machine. Reason, being was that it potentially would over
heat the machine.

But thanks to everyone who replied
