hello admins...

I know this ain't much of a summary, but for the list's sake..

There were 3 major answers to my question...(enclosed below)..

1.- Audiotool, inlcuded in the Solaris 2.5 distribution (don't know earlier
versions, but guess so).

2.- SOX, said to be a better audio tool

3.- SpeekFreely, said to be a even better audio tool

Ahhh...and to record .wav ....install WABI ??

Well....be careful what you ask for...you might get it. :)

Thanks to the many people who took the time to answer my simple question.

bye..

hello admins..

Maybe I'm not the only one, but...

I have been working in this SS20 Solaris 2.5 as a Sysadmin for almost
5 months (going to make an Ultra now.. :) ) and I haven't figured
out which program can use the SUN microphone that comes with it...

I don't know even if it works.... sigh!..

can anyone give me some pointers...??

can i record .au .wav ?

Thanks..
