Thanks for all (lot) the replies.
I solved the problem giving /bin/date as shell and adding /bin/date to the file
/etc/shells that I've created (Solaris 2.5).
I've also received lot of suggestions about using tcp-wrapper got from
ftp://ftp.win.tue.nl/pub/security/ but still not tested.
The last solution (drastic) is to remove the line of telnet from the inetd.conf
file and restart the inetd daemon, bur this remove the possibility to telnet to
all the users, also to root.
