SUMMARY: Attaching a terminal to a Classic

Thanks for the responses, there was a lot of them.

The problem was not logging in as root, I was using my own account, the
problem was with the configuration.

The "Desktop SPARC Hardware Owner's Guide" stated, in Appendix B, page 65:

        Then set the options as follows:
        - 7 data bits per character
        - 1 stop bit
        - Even parity
        - 9600 baud
        - XON/XOFF enabled

So I did it, and the login message appeared, but after a few test I
realize that the ENTER was translated to "\250" or something like that.
Then I did a change the settings and tested, again and again... The only
setting that worked was:

        7 Bits, Space Parity, 1 Stop Bit.

That was all the promblem! :)
