my question:
------------
can a Seagate Barracuda 2LP (ST32550) with 7200rpm spindle speed
be used as an _internal_ disk? such high speed disks usually
generate a lot more heat

i received two responses that basically say "no problem"
(have used them on several SS20's with for 6 months now),
but one person told me that i should get the additional
fan provided by Sun for early releases of Sun Sparc 20.

the following is from Matt Zhabinskiy and from memory:
Sparc 20 shipped prior to 8/22/94, or has serial number 433Fxxxx
or lower should have an additional fan installed. call
your nearest Sun office or 1 800 USA 4SUN and ask for "FCO 0054"

thanks a lot to:
