SUMMARY: multiple ethernet/same address

From: Greg Coleman (gtech@cnj.digex.net)

First, I apologize for not checking the FAQ first. A couple of
you kindly informed me that this question is addressed in the latest
sun-managers.
Next, I received responses from all over the globe on this one,
all agreeing on one thing; THIS IS NORMAL! The mac (machine) address
is assigned to the ethernet cards from an ID chip on the cpu board.
So, if you use multiple interfaces you probably are using them on
different segments allowing seperate IP address.

I SENT THIS OUT IMMEDIATELY SO IF YOU ARE NOT LISTED I JUST HADN'T
RECEIVED YOUR RESPONSE AT THIS WRITING.
