                                Original Query

I am working on a project that will utilize Suns as a presentation platform
in a training environment and I need an MPEG player that plays .au and/or
.wav files, such that the sound is synchronized with the images.

Does anyone know of or where I can find such a beast ? Alternatively is
there any way that the Sun soundtool can be linked with an mpeg player ?

                                Summary

I forgot to note that I was running SunOs 4.1.3, not that it made much
difference.

In general there seems to be a few possible solutions, I will have to
investigate them in depth to be conclusive though. The following are the
things that seem to apply. Thanks to all who took the time to help.

- It was suggested that I have a look at quicktime ( available at a number
of FTP sites ), since it has sound capabilities.
- Also suggested way xanim2697, however it plays *.mov/avi files, albeit with
  sound.
- for those running Solaris 2.x
  /opt/SUNWits/Graphics-sw/xil/examples/test/SunVideo, may do the trick
- commercially available stuff - Sun's ShowMeTV.
