Answer: netstat -s ==>

 ip:
        39780241 total packets received
        0 bad header checksums
        0 with size smaller than minimum
        18 with data size < data length
        0 with header length < data size
        0 with data length < header length
        743122 fragments received
        4482 fragments dropped (dup or out of space)
        1067 fragments dropped after timeout
  ==> 27682669 packets forwarded
        0 packets not forwardable
        7109 redirects sent
        0 ip input queue drops

(I guess I just didn't look close enough)

FYI. The ratio on this machine is 70% of the packets seen are being forwarded.
  As far as I'm concerned I have better things to do with this machine...
  Onward....

Thanks.
Bob
