My query was
> Is there a command in solaris by which one can know
> from which library a particular function comes from ?
>

1)
The best answer was a shell script "whatlib" sent to me by Kevin Martinez
add: lps@rahul.net . This is a long script and if anyone is interested in it
please send me a mail.
-----------------------------------
2)
Most of the people suggested I use "nm"
-----------------------------------
3)
Others suggested that I use "ldd"
---------------------------------
4)
You can sometimes tell which library a function belongs to by the letter
appended to its manual page suffix, as described on the intro(3) manual page.
