Does anybody know, where to fetch the latest
patchlist for SunOS (not solaris).
I just got a CDROM with 4.1.3_U1 Version B
and we want to write a script which installs
all relevant patches and local modifications
just after installation of the system.
I was told, that this version is really the last
of SunOS and there will be no other versions in future.
Does anybody have new informations about that?
Has anybody out there experiences in
"automation of system installation"?
Perhaps it would be faster to install a preconfigured
root and usr filesystem over the net than with the slow
CDROM.

One has asked for getting a copy of the answers.

Mike wrote, that installing a preconfigured system over the net is

3 sent a copy of the Solaris 1.1.1 Patch Integration List 07/Jan/94

Robert and Alexander sent a copy of

                        Solaris 1.1.1 Patch Report Update
                            as of 13/May/94

which seems to be the latest release.

Leif sent a fine script for automatic applying most patches.
he will soon update his script to incorporate the latest version.

I will send the complete report to anybody who will ask for it.
here are the recommended patches (they include all security patches and
4 patches for OW):
