Hello again!

I asked if there is any autologouters and
autoscrenlockers out there that could do what we
need, for details see my original post added below.

I got lots of answers, thank you all! And
fast, as always. I really hope I could help some
of you sometime! The answers fell into these categories:

- "Use ARM from Sun."
Very interesting, and a bit emabarassing, as
we have it on the shelf, ready to install! We
just did not know ARM could do this, too. It
was bought for its password ageing scheme.

- "Use xautolock and/or xscreensaver."

A lot of people suggested that xautolock could
be run in two instances of which one could lock
and the other one could log people out. Noone
said they have done this, though.

- "Use my homegrown."
        Thank you, rwolf@dretor.dciem.dnd.ca, for
sending me your homegrown script. It looks
promising, I'm sure you will get requests
        for it now. :-)

Thank you:

Cheers!

Do you run any type of throw-people-out-when-not-using-system program
under OpenWIndows? Would you mind sharing your experiences with us on the
program you use?

We have a need for a program which
        1) Executes a screenlock program after a certain time of inactivity
        and
        2) Logs the user out after even longer time of inactivity
        and
        3) Works with/under OpenWIndows 3.0
        and
        4) Can be configured to have differnet times for 2 and 3 above
        at night and daytime.
        and
        5) Be public or commercial

We have checked untamo, but it does not seem to fulfill 4) above, and maybe
not even 3), we were not smart enough to understand how. Our VMS system is
not the most clever of systems, but it does have something called KBlock/
Thumper which does a job similar to the above, and I would like something
like this.
