Thanks to all who responded. My original post is below.
There was actually 2 things that were wrong with my set up.
1) I had the wrong versions for the following libraries:
libxview.sa.3.1
libxview.so.3.1
libolgx.so.3.1
libdeskset.sa.0.1
libX11.so.4.3
The versions I had were:
libxview.sa.3.0
libxview.so.3.0
libolgx.so.3.0
libX11.so.4.2

The second problem I had was my environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH was not
set correctly.
