For those interested in using hard media to transfer files between Sun
and Mac, bar(1) works well. All that's necessary on the Mac side is to
get a copy of Suntar (Sperza's "untar", no relation to SunSoft folks)
from umich or sumex and put it on your Mac. This works so well for
large file transfers (vs. download over a serial line) that I actually
prefer sneakernet for most file transfers between systems now.
