Summary - My SUN and I are in a panic...

My question was about Panic: Async memory errors that one of our systems
gets occaisonally when interacting with an attached data taking computer.

Most of the responses said we probably have an error in physical memory
or something closely related.

Many thanks to Hal Stern for his paper "Building and Debugging SunOS
Kernels" and to Birger for his 'corecheck' script.

On the related question of what sources are best for relative beginners
who want to learn more, the answer was almost unanimous (and as expected) -
the O'Reily & Assoc. books. I agree they are excellent.

Thanks ---
