Recently I asked:

>> I was wondering why a certain host (say 'foobar') was automounted all the
>> time, even though I'm not referencing anything there, neither is it in my
>> PATH / MANPATH / LD_LIBRARY_PATH, etc.
>>
>> I found out that I had this line in my .login:
>>
>> setenv OW_SOURCES /net/foobar/disk2/openwin3.0 # OW 3.0 full distribution
>>
>> Apprently, this kept 'foobar' automounted. Is this a feature or a bug?

A few responses have arrived, all saying, "Naaah, can't be, it must be you."
And they are right. It turned out that I have an XVIEW-based application
running and it needs OW3.0 shared libs from (surprise!) the same file system
to which that naughty environment variable was pointing.
