SUMMARY: Loosing Sockets (SunOS/PC-NFS)

for "suspecting the PC" and hinting at "severe broakenness".
You were right on both accounts!

I traced the problem a litter further with etherfind and found out that
the PC was (some of the time) sending RESETS instead
of FINISHES as part of the TCP/IP packet protocol.

Sun just sent me the fix, which is a new version of rtm.exe
which will be released in PC-NFS 5.0

P.S. I was really losing sockets not loosing them!! :->
