 Recently I asked the following:

> Hello all !
> I recently upgraded a SS2 to 4.1.2 from 4.1.1 and now CAP refuses to work.
> When I start aarpd I olly get :
>
> /dev/nit: No such device or address
> init_enet: network initialization failed

> Did something with /dev/nit change in 4.1.2 ????
>
> I removed /dev/nit and rebuilt it, recompiled CAP - it still refuses to work.

> Any hints are welcome - I'll summarize.

It resulted, that Murphys Law came true once again. I tried to run CAP on
two workstations with 4.1.2 with the same result (see above)
In one of them, the pseudo-devices snit , pf and nbuf were not active,
but my copy of the config file said they were.
On the other workstation, I started aarpd with the wrong interface (ie0
  instead of le0).
As the error message was exactly the same, I suspectet 4.1.2 instead of
 my own errors.
