SUMMARY: ld.so warning after installing lpd security patch (CERT)

This morning I posted the following:

Among the answers I received were ones admonishing me to upgrade to 4.1.2,
but the one that did the trick came was

This worked, and ranlib needed to be run on libc.sa.1.7 only.
