SUMMARY: Remote-printing problem

Thank you, Sun-managers, and in particular Torsten.Lif@eos.ericsson.se,
who pointed me in the right direction.

I reported a problem wherein an Imagen printer could be accessed by the
machine it resided on, using the Imagen utility 'impress', but returned
an error message if an attempt was made to 'impress' to it from a remote
machine.

It turned out, as Mr. Lif suggested, that my path to the binaries needed
to print through 'impress' was obstructed. I had constructed the link
from /usr/local/bin (readable) to the Imagen binaries on the 'server' in-
correctly for the filter 'ipr*', while that for 'imprint*' was correct.
I don't know how many times I looked at that and never saw the error!

Thank you, Mr. Lif. Thanks also to Arie Bikker for a response.
