SUMMARY: Another version of Mail/mail

Recently, I asked:

Most of the responses suggested that I create an alias for Mail or just
switch around my path so that the right version is used.

Both are reasonable suggestions, but neither addresses the problem.

The real answer came from Lane Robert.
